Coordinates communications programs both for members and the general public.

Spacer Awards Committee selects Realtor and Affiliate of the Year, and other awards and recognitions
Spacer Membership Committee promotes membership participation in committees and activities
Spacer Member Services Committee arranges group purchasing and discount programs for members
Spacer Young Professionals Network runs programs customized for the younger set of membership
Legislative, Political & Legal Issues Council
Advocates Realtor position on important legislation and regulation. Engages Realtors with the political community.

Spacer Ad hoc committees formed as needed to develop HGAR policy positions on matters affecting real estate
Spacer RPAC Fundraising Committee raises funds for Realtor PAC
Fair Housing & Cultural Diversity Committee
Develops programs for assisting members with fair housing compliance.

Professional Standards Council
Resolves business and ethical disputes between Realtors and with customers and clients. Three year terms. Special training required. Not all volunteers can be accepted because of rules regarding diversified committee composition.

Spacer Grievance Committee processes complaints and disputes
Spacer Panelists are on call for ethics and arbitration hearings
Spacer Mediators and Ombudsmen help resolve disputes without formal hearings. Special training required.
Education Council
Sets policy for HGAR's Education Department. Advises on new courses. Plans seminars and speakers. Serves as HGAR liaison for Department of State regulatory and policy issues.
